Personal injury news
Drivers admitted to hospital after collisions in BromsgrovePolice are urging witnesses to come forward after several cars were involved in road accidents in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, which resulted in one whiplash case. There were a total of four car crashes which occurred on Hanbury Road. A victim of one of these collisions was a woman driving a Volvo Estate, who needed to be taken to the nearby hospital in Redditch where she was treated for whiplash. She was later released. A six-month-old infant, involved in the incident, did not sustain any personal injury, however, he was also taken to the hospital as a precaution. Another woman driver on the same road, driving a Peugeot, had to be cut out of her car before she was flown to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. Her condition was not considered to be life-threatening. Police in Redditch have since arrested a man who was believed to be drink driving at the time of the incident. He has since been released on bail but must return to Redditch in May this year. Luckily there were no deaths reported in this accident and no more serious an injury than minor whiplash, but the situation could have been a lot worse. Witnesses are being asked to come forward to speak to West Mercia Police.
