A schoolgirl from Dorset could make a possible whiplash injury claim after she was knocked to the ground by a minibus wing mirror in Southbourne, near Bournemouth, on the south coast recently.
The 15-year-old was walking on a pavement when she was struck. She was knocked to the ground, but initially only felt winded and dazed.
The driver of the minibus and a passenger both asked if the girl was OK and then drove off, after the girl moved the wing mirror back into place.
The girl was later sent from her school to hospital where she was treated for whiplash, bruising and nerve damage.
Police are appealing for the driver and any witnesses to come forward with information regarding the road traffic accident as there could possibly be a dangerous driving prosecution and consequent whiplash injury claim for 100 percent compensation.
