Whiplash and nausea have been reported as a result of a road traffic accident involving Dursley school children en route to a field trip.
The children, who were travelling in two of five coaches ferrying the students to the West Midlands Safari Park, received what has been described as minor personal injury when a car crash occurred with another driver near roadworks on the A449.
The drivers of all three vehicles were taken to hospital by emergency services, who described the children who had suffered personal injury as "walking wounded" and all parents were alerted. Some of the students complaining of potential whiplash symptoms were also taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
