The car accident occurred in the Highlands, near South Laggan, on the A82. One man is believed to have been thrown from his car.
One driver suffered a neck injury, and the other has been described as having ‘serious head injuries' as a result of the car crash. The former was airlifted to a Fort William hospital by an RAF helicopter that was in the area, where the other driver was taken by road.
The car crash occurred at 1pm, and no other vehicles were involved.
