Car crash victim wins £2.3 million in compensation
A Bristol man has won £2.3 million in road traffic accident compensation after a horrific car crash which left him seriously injured.
The baker was travelling along the A361 to his job four years ago when his car was hit head on. The driver of the other vehicle was going in the opposite direction and trying to overtake a lorry at the time of the car crash.
The claimant sustained brain damage in the incident and has been left severely disabled from the collision. He requires 24-hour care and extensive neuro-rehabilitation treatments.
As well as the £2.3 million lump payout, the car crash victim will also receive an annual figure of £145,000.
The personal injury compensation will pay for the Afghanistan-born refugee to receive the care and medical treatment he requires following the road traffic accident as well as the cost of adapting his home to make it suitable for his needs.
