Road traffic accident fatality in three-car crashA three-car road traffic accident in Woodbridge, Suffolk, proved fatal for a woman driver and resulted in personal injury to two others. The victim was driving along the B1083, just south east of Woodbridge, when she was in collision with two other cars. One of the motorists involved in the incident suffered severe neck injury and was described as being in a "time-critical" condition. His female passenger suffered a more minor injury in the form of a fractured thumb. The condition of the driver of the other vehicle which was involved has not been reported. The area was sealed off to other road users by police while the injured parties were treated and the site investigated. All casualties of the car crash were taken to Ipswich Hospital after three ambulances and two rapid response vehicles attended the scene. The services of members of fire crew from Woodbridge and Ipswich aided in cutting some of the individuals from their cars. Police are calling for witnesses of the accident to come forward, so that they can plot out the scene of the accident better and come to a conclusion as to who is liable for the incident. Once liability for the road traffic accident is determined then drivers and passengers injured as a result might be able to make compensation claims should they wish to do so.
