Woman seeks compensation from dead manA Sussex woman is making a road traffic accident claim against a dead man after a car crash in 2008. The 27-year-old is making the claim against the dead driver involved in the car accident who she says was entirely to blame for the car accident in which he died and she was seriously injured. The crash took place in Nash Street, Golden Cross in February 2008 after, the claimant argues; the driver was going too fast and was not "looking properly" when he crashed. Following the crash, the surviving female passenger suffered fractures to her pelvis and ankle and injuries to her bladder and bowels. The woman has filed a writ at the High Court seeking unlimited damages form the executors of the driver's estate. In the writ, the female passenger states, "He drove too fast, failed to keep a proper look out, failed to adequately see, heed or act upon a bend in the road." A member of the press contacted the executor of the deceased driver's will but he claimed to know nothing about the road traffic accident claim.
