Women in road traffic accident turned right way up by footballers

Two women involved in a road traffic accident were lucky to find a group of footballers able to turn their car back over this weekend.

The women were trapped in their vehicle after their car accident, which occurred near a Plymouth YMCA where a football match was in progress on Sunday.

Emergency services attended the scene of the car crash, and under the supervision of paramedics twelve footballers righted the vehicle with the women inside.

Reports state that the women suffered only minor personal injury in their road traffic accident.
