A dramatic car accident, featuring the stunt driver for actor Nicolas Cage, occurred this week in New York's busy Times Square.
During the filming of the new movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice, the star's stunt driver lost control of a Ferrari, sending the sports car crashing into a lamppost, which hit one pedestrian, before colliding with another. The road traffic accident was captured on amateur video and is available on the website of the New York Post.
Police say the stunt double will not face charges as a result of the car crash, and the man who suffered personal injury as a result says he is still shaken by the incident. While he has not explicitly mentioned a compensation claim as a result of the car accident, he expressed a wish to "tell them to be more careful, to watch what they're doing."
