Fairfield Street motorbike accident claimThe family of a deceased motorcyclist, believed to have lost control of his bike in Kingston, Surrey, in heavy traffic, may not be able to make a motorbike accident claim. The 50-year-old man suffered fatal personal injury in a crash which occurred in Fairfield Street near Fairfield Park. Although the man was taken to St George's Hospital as a priority case, paramedics spent several minutes at the scene performing CPR on the casualty and the biker later died in hospital despite being given further medical attention. The Metropolitan Police said, "It is not thought any other vehicle was involved in the collision." If further investigations by a Road Death Investigation Unit prove this to be correct, the biker's family may be unable to claim for their loss. Witnesses of the incident are being asked to come forward with any information which may help determine liability for the crash. When responsibility for the road traffic incident has been resolved, the victim's family will know whether they will be able to make a motorbike accident claim.
