A 59-year-old man has died in hospital after a road accident involving a parked car in West Yorkshire.
Police said the man from Halifax was driving a blue Chevrolet Lacetti in Sowerby New Road, Sowerby Bridge, when he crashed into a silver Citreon Saxo. No one was in the parked car at the time.
The man, who has not yet been named, was taken to Calderdale Royal Infirmary after the accident but subsequently died.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the car crash which happened at 16.25 BST on Friday 29th May, to come forward. Anyone with any information in relation to the road accident have been asked to contact PC4940 Jonathan Roberts of Calderdale Road Policing Unit on (01422) 337236.
