Lorry accident claim for casualty's family possibleA collision, involving a pedestrian and a HGV, on the M32 resulted in a fatality but it is not yet known whether the casualty's family will be making a lorry accident claim. The incident occurred on the approach to Bristol between junctions one and two, and the circumstances surrounding the crash are still unknown. The female victim, who is believed to have been in her 20s, was walking along the side of the highway when the lorry collided with her. Emergency services attended the scene and the woman, who suffered severe personal injury, was taken to hospital by paramedics in a life-threatening condition. Unfortunately, she later died despite being given medical attention. Avon and Somerset Constabulary is asking for any witnesses of the accident to come forward with any information which could help with its investigation. The victim's family may make a lorry accident claim for their loss if the HGV driver is found liable. However, if inquiries by police discover that the motorist was not at fault, then no compensation claim is likely to be commenced.
