A London car accident caused chaos for traffic in London this week, as a car crashed into a lamppost at 3am.
The road traffic accident, which occurred in West Kensington, caused the A4 to be closed as emergency services were called. A 23-year-old passenger in the car was taken to hospital with what was described as "serious" personal injury, but this is not thought to be life-threatening.
The road remained closed for nine hours as a result of the car crash, causing severe tailbacks and queues in the capital as the closure extended past rush hour. This was a result of the police's forensic investigation of the car accident scene; no arrests were made.
