Car crash compensation may be sought after a car crashed into a tree in Nottinghamshire, leaving the driver seriously injured.
The male driver and his passenger were travelling in a Vauxhall Omega when it came off the road at a notorious accident spot.
While the passenger escaped serious injury, the driver was severely injured and was taken to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham for specialist treatment.
A spokesperson for the police crash investigation team said, "We would really like to speak to anyone who was at the scene during the collision or anyone who saw the car in the time leading up to the crash."
Anyone who witnessed the car accident between Huckanll and Annesley is being asked to contact Hucknall Police or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
It has not been reported if car crash compensation is likely to be made by the passenger involved in the crash.
