Emergency services rescue trapped woman in car crash
A car accident compensation claim is possible after a crash led to a woman being cut free by firefighters after her vehicle was severely damaged on a Scottish road.
The female passenger was trapped in a black Land Rover that had been towing a caravan after it was in collision with a silver Ford Fiesta.
The trapped passenger and the female driver of the Fiesta were both taken to hospital at Aberdeen, Scotland, after the smash on the B977 at Deeside.
Police said they were transferred to hospital as a precautionary measure. The female passenger needed to be cut out of the Land Rover because she had been in an "awkward position", said officers.
The Land Rover driver was uninjured, according to press reports. It is not known at this stage if there will be a car accident compensation claim as a result of the crash and any personal injury suffered.
