A Swiss cow has been involved in a car accident that left the vehicle destroyed and the driver suffering with minor personal injuries - seemingly without suffering itself.
The driver said that the cow had been bounced onto his car's bonnet in the crash, and catapulted over the roof, writing his vehicle off entirely and causing him cuts, bruises and a potential whiplash injury.
"I couldn't believe it when I saw it just standing there and looking at me afterwards," he said. "I thought it should have been dead. Instead it just mooed at me."
A vet gave the cow a clean bill of health following the car accident, and returned it to its owner. No news is forthcoming on whether the driver - or, indeed, the cow - intends to hire a no win, no fee solicitor and make a personal injury compensation claim over the crash.
*A replacement vehicle can usually be supplied within 4-6 working hours, where there is an admission of liability from the other person’s insurance company. If this person is not known, their insurance details are not known, they are uninsured or there is a potential dispute over who caused the accident, a replacement vehicle cannot be provided.
