A comedian and former Saturday Night Live television star has started a car accident compensation claim after suffering serious personal injuries in a crash.
The American comedian, who made his name doing impersonations of celebrities, including Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, had been travelling as a passenger when another car crashed with the vehicle in which he was travelling.
The incident took place in Sag Harbor, New York, in June and left the comedian with fractured ribs and serious lower back injuries. His injuries have been so severe that he has had to cancel several performances and is unable to fly, let alone stand up.
The star has since filed a court case for an unspecified amount of compensation from the driver of the other vehicle and his friend, who was driving the car in which he was passenger at the time of the incident.
*A replacement vehicle can usually be supplied within 4-6 working hours, where there is an admission of liability from the other person’s insurance company. If this person is not known, their insurance details are not known, they are uninsured or there is a potential dispute over who caused the accident, a replacement vehicle cannot be provided.
