A car crash in Suffolk has left two people dead and three critically injured.
The US airmen killed have been confirmed as Staff Sgt Mark Stephany, 24 and Senior Airman Daniel Addabbo, 23 who were both based at nearby RAF Lakenheath in Eriswell.
Three people in the other car, a Nissan, were critically injured and are being treated at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. The car's passengers also included a two-year-old boy and two other men who have been treated for minor injuries.
One of the passengers in the Nissan is said to be in a "possibly life threatening condition" and another passenger is in a "critical but stable condition".
The car crash occurred on the A1101 at Icklingham. The cause of the accident is still unknown and awaiting further investigation.
