Car crash compensation news 09/09/2010
Family's traumatic day outA family from Birmingham has said that it will fight to receive car crash compensation for what it claims was the dangerous driving which caused their car to career off the road. The family-of-four, which includes an 18-month-old girl and her seven-year-old brother, was returning from a day trip at Drayton Manor theme park when they were allegedly "squeezed" off the road by the apparently uncompromising actions of an HGV driver. "It's like we weren't even there," said the mother of the family. "We could have been killed," she added. However, none of the family suffered any traumatic personal injuries but were instead left very rattled and with bumps, bruises and whiplash. The father of the family described the incident as being like a "nightmare" and said that his son is now terrified of lorries. As a result, the family has said that it will contact a no win, no fee claims firm with a view to claiming car crash compensation for the incident. However, car crash compensation is unlikely to be paid unless the heavy goods vehicle involved in the incident can be identified and traced so the family is calling for any witnesses to step forward and help.
