One property owner may have to seek car crash compensation after a wall was crashed into by an elderly motorist.
Traffic was brought to a standstill in Leicestershire on Monday 8th February after the woman lost control of her Nissan outside the vicarage in South Wigston.
The female motorist had to be treated by paramedics for minor injuries after the car she was driving crashed into a brick wall.
She was helped from the overturned vehicle by four workmen, who were repairing a road nearby when the traffic accident happened.
One of the workmen commented, "We saw the car come round the corner and go straight through the wall next to us.
"It just missed one of the lads and ended up on its side about 10 feet away."
The extent of the damage to the wall has not been reported however the property owner could gain car crash compensation to pay for necessary repairs.
