Welsh man sentenced for causing fatal personal injury crash

A 20-year-old Welsh man has been sentenced to four years and eight months in a young offenders institute for causing a fatal car accident by dangerous driving.

Caernarfon Crown Court heard how the car accident criminal had been driving his Honda Civic with his childhood friend in the front passenger seat when he lost control on the A496 and crashed into a wall.

The barrister acting for the defendant said that head injuries sustained in the car crash meant his client could not remember any details of its circumstances.

He also said that the 20-year-old had expressed remorse for his actions on the fateful day of the car accident.
