Road crash kills young trio
A car accident has killed two teenagers and a nine-year-old boy from Devon as the trio were returning home from the Giffstock music festival last Saturday (4th July). The car crash occurred around 11pm after the youngster's car overturned and crashed into a wall. All three were pronounced dead at the scene. The three friends were in a Vauxhall Corsa as it came down a steep hill and lost control, careering into a wall. The college, where they attended, has been holding special assemblies in tribute of the two older boys. The principal, said of the pair, "What you remember most about [them] is how gentle they were." A friend of one victim, one of the many who visited the crash site, said, "He was a really good friend, someone you could rely on." One of the road crash victims' sisters wrote on the social networking site Facebook, "It's so heart warming to see how loved he was." Police are appealing fo any eyewitnesses to the car accident or anyone who saw the dark Corsa between Aveton Gifford and Bantham Cross roundabout, just after 23.00 BST on Saturday night.
