Eat Lothian car crash kills three after head on collision
A car accident in East Lothian has left two seventeen year old boys and a 54-year-old woman dead. The car crash happened after the two cars collided head on in Macmerry.
The two boys killed were old school mates from Ross High School and were said to have been "like brothers". The driver had only recently passed his driving test and was driving a Renault Clio at the time of the crash.
The 54-year old Asda worker had only just picked her Nissan Micra up from the garage when the incident occurred. Her husband had just dropped her off to pick up the car and watched helplessly as the tragic scene unfolded.
Tributes, including the woman's Asda jacket and the boy's favourite football teams' strips have been left at the scene of the car accident.
