A Scottish car accident investigation has been launched after a two car collision near Dunfermline recently.
A 17-year-old driver was killed in the road traffic accident where he appeared to have lost control of his Vauxhall causing him to swerve into the path of oncoming traffic.
The driver of the other car involved suffered severe leg injuries and was taken to Stirling Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Police who attended the scene of the car accident called for witnesses as the investigation was set in motion. It is unclear as of yet, whether the female driver hurt in the incident will have grounds to make a claim for personal injury compensation from the young driver's insurers.
