Firefighters were called to free the driver from a Volkswagen Passat after it was involved in a three-car collision with a Volkswagen Bora and a silver Rover 416 at 8.24am.
The Passat driver was taken to Portsmouth's Queen Alexandra Hospital while the other three people were treated on the scene and did not require hospital treatment.
Two lanes of the A27 were closed for a short while. The car accident caused some delays to commuters as three ambulances, two fire crews and police attended the crash scene.
A spokeswoman for Hampshire Police said, "Fortunately, it doesn't appear there are any serious injuries."
Witnesses to the accident are being asked to contact Hampshire Police to help ith investigations.
Once liability for the crash has been determined, car accident compensation may be sought by those involved.
