The personal injury lawyer hired by two car accident victims in the US has been branded an ‘ambulance chaser' by the wife of stateside television star, Larry King.
A car belonging to Mr King's company, Larry King Enterprises was involved in a car accident in November 2008, and although the occupants of the other car are alleged to have told the driver and witnesses they were fine, a claim for $50,000 (over £35,000) in compensation has now been lodged against the firm in respect of their personal injuries.
Recently King's wife has been scathing in her comments on the two claimants, saying, "This is a completely frivolous and fraudulent lawsuit. There was zero damage to both cars.
"These people went to an ambulance chaser for an attorney, and as though they were filling out a form to get the maximum amount of money they could, checked off every box possible."
There has been no publicised comment from the personal injury lawyer or the unnamed accident victims. The case is due in court in December.
