Four teens seriously injured in A272 crashMultiple car accident claims could be made after four teenagers were seriously injured in a car crash in West Sussex. The teenagers, who were travelling in a Vauxhall Corsa, collided with a flatbed lorry on the A272 near Billingshurst. Four emergency helicopters attended the scene including air ambulances from London, Kent and Hampshire as well as a police helicopter from Sussex. Three of the teenagers suffered life-threatening injuries and were flown to specialist hospitals in London and Essex while the fourth teenager was taken to Worthing Hospital with serious injuries. The 71-year-old lorry driver was not injured in the accident. Both lanes of the road were shut for four hours while emergency services attended the scene at the junction of Kirdford Road and Loxwood Road. Sussex Police are investigating the cause of the incident and are appealing to witnesses of the car crash to come forward. Depending on the outcome of the police's investigations, a car accident claim could be made by the injured driver and passengers of the Corsa.
