Driver's anger over "chav's" whiplash compensation claim
A leading motor insurance company has said that it will take action against one of its employees after the details of a car accident claim form were leaked to the media.
The car accident claim form in question is a report submitted by a driver who has been forced to defend a whiplash claim for his part in a two-car collision. In the report, the man has used comic-style drawings to illustrate how the collision between him and a female motorist happened. One of these depicts an exchange between the two, in which a speech bubble has the woman driver say, "Ooooh. I'm a freeloading fat chav who doesn't have whiplash!!!"
The speech bubble coming from the defendant' mouth replies simply, "CHAV!".
Another document attached to the car accident claim defendant's report seeks to explain the crash. I very slightly touched the rear bumper of the car in front," it says.
"There was no damage and [the claimant] is a fat chav who definitely does not have whiplash."
*A replacement vehicle can usually be supplied within 4-6 working hours, where there is an admission of liability from the other person’s insurance company. If this person is not known, their insurance details are not known, they are uninsured or there is a potential dispute over who caused the accident, a replacement vehicle cannot be provided.
