Bus accident compensation possible for driver near Gatwick
The driver of a bus, who was in an accident near Gatwick airport, may be able to claim bus accident compensation.
The incident involved the bus and a lorry early in the morning, and resulted with the road being closed for a large part of the day.
The bus company employee had to be cut from his vehicle by fire crew, but the lorry driver did not suffer any personal injury and there were no passengers on the bus.
If, after a police investigation, the bus driver is found liable for the collision he will not be able to make a claim for his pain, suffering and any loss of earnings.
However, if it is determined that the lorry driver was responsible for the road traffic accident then it is likely that the other driver will be able to take legal action, in the form of bus accident compensation, against him and the company by which he was employed.
