Liverpool woman tells us how she successfully made a car accident claim

"It was like any other day really. I drove into work and finished working on my mailing list for a conference we were holding. I had driven to the printers before and knew the route like the back of my hand; it was only 2.30pm and so the roads weren't too busy. I approached a set of traffic lights and waited for them to turn green, when then did, I carried on driving straight ahead but then all of a sudden my car was hit side-on by another vehicle.

My neck was killing me from the force of the impact and my head was bleeding after hitting the car window. I was rushed to hospital and examined for car accident injuries such as whiplash, which doctors later confirmed I had sustained. I also suffered a head injury from hitting the window and received eight stitches. I was signed off from work for three weeks, which caused me to miss the conference and also miss making several money making deals with potential clients.

I was later told by police that the driver of the other vehicle had run the red light because they were talking on their mobile phone and hadn't been looking at the road. This infuriated me and whilst resting my head and neck injury at home, my husband suggested making a car accident claim.
